I found a photo in my grandmother's album that states "Grandchildren of Christ(Christian)Raver.Julie Books' kids.
I can't find any record of Uncle Christ having a daughter named Julie - only a son named Wavel.
The photo is old- probably before 1900.There are three children-2 girls standing on either side of a baby sitting in a chair.They are outside in front of a log/wooden wall.
Christian is the son of George Raver and Catherine Welty.(My grandmother was his sister-in-law.)

Children were Catharine (b. abt 1835), John (b. abt. 1840), Jonas (b. abt 1845), Abrahm/Abraham/Absolum (b. abt 1846), Israel/Isrial (b. 3 June 1849), Mary (b. abt 1853), and Ann (b. abt 1856). Mrs. Erma VANCE BOOKS and Maj. Claude CONGDON, commanding
the second battalion of the Third Regiment, were married yesterday at the
home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. VANCE, 4329 Summit
Street. The ceremony was at 4:30 o'clock. Only immediate friends
attended. The Rev. Frank G. SMITH, pastor of the First Congregational
Church officiated.

Immediately after the wedding dinner, Major CONGDON rejoined his
command. If the Third Regiment is called for foreign service,
Mrs. CONGDON will accompany her husband to the field headquarters,
he said last night.

I don't know anything about his past besides he had nine siblens, Lloyd, Fred, Cliff, Chester (Chet), Tiny (real name not known), Della Gertrude, Leatha, and Millie. He also had seven children which they were all riesed in Wisconsin; Wilmer, Roland, Maynard, Darwin, Chariotte, Sharon, Dweaine. Do you know anything about the Books of Wisconsin?

George J. Books was born between 1800-1803 in Pennsylvania. He married Margaret and moved near the Dayton, Ohio area. They lived in Ohio for the births of the following known children:
