      <description>Hi I am Billy Bootle's son. My dad played for city 1944-46 and 48-49. My dad is 86 now nd living in a nursing home in urmston. My grandad died in 2004 aged 102. He lived in ashton under lyne all his life.</description>

      <description>Son of Silvester Bootle and Frances Bootle (Ashton)&lt;br&gt;in Hardybutts, Wigan, Lancashire&lt;br&gt;The only subsequent reference that I have found is in the 1841 census, aged 5 months.&lt;br&gt;There is definitely no record in the 1881 census and I cannot find any record of marriage or death in the UK.&lt;br&gt;Did he emigrate?</description>

      <description>The following obit is here with permission of the Bradford County Telegraph, in Bradford County,&lt;br&gt;Fla.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;George "Bruce" Bootle&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;HAWTHORNE-George "Bruce" Bootle, 43, of Hawthorne died Friday, Nov. 22, &lt;br&gt;2002, at his residence.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Born in Wilmington, Del., Mr. Bootle moved to Hawthorne from McIntosh three&lt;br&gt;years ago.  He was a mechanic for Crom Corp.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Mr. Bootle is survived by: his wife Janice Bootle of Hawthorne; two daughters,&lt;br&gt;Jessica Bootle and Abigale Bootle, both of Hawthorne; his mother Doris Bootle&lt;br&gt;of Boardman; four brothers, Randy Bootle, of Gainesville; Rodney Bootle of&lt;br&gt;Wekala, Brian Bootle of Sparr and Tracy Bootle of Boardman; and a sister&lt;br&gt;Vickie Markham of Gainesville.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Funeral services for Mr. Bootle were Nov. 26, 2002 at Moring Funeral Home of&lt;br&gt;Melrose with the Rev. Chuck Miles officiating.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Note: I am of no relation, but my sympathies go out to those of you who are.&lt;br&gt;This is here as a lasting memorial for Mr. Bootle&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;tigerlily =';'=</description>
