Mansfield, PA - Mrs. Harriet Cecil Brace, 83, of Mansfield, died Sunday at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro, PA where she had been a patient for two weeks following a heart attack.
Born Jul 4, 1889 in Blackwell, PA, she was the daughter of George M. and Elizabeth Chambers Blackwell.
She was a member of the Mansfield United Methodist Church.
She was the widow of William Brace, whom she married following the death of her first husband, Ralph Miller.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Dennis (Hazel) Watkins of Palmetto, FL, Miss Edna Miller of Mansfield, Mrs Edwin (Wanda) Carberry of San Diego, CA and Mrs. Alden (Lilliam) Bowser of Lockport, NY; one sister, Mrs. Blaine Olmstead of Elmira, NY; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Shaw and Robens Funeral Home in Mansfield today from 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held there Wednesday at 1 pm, with the Rev. Richard Brenneman, paster of the Mansfield United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Corning
