I THINK I AM RELATED AS WELL.

I FOUND AN OBITUARY FOR GLENN I. BRANDO - AND IT STATED THAT HE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS SISTER BERNICE, AND A BROTHER FRANCIS. IT ALSO STATED THAT HIS PARENTS WERE HARVEY (HERVERY) BRANDO AND ETHYL BRANDO.

GLENN BRANDO WAS MY BIOLOGICAL GRANDFATHER. MY MOTHER WAS BORN FROM HIS 1ST MARRIAGE.
HIS FIRST WIFE WAS MARY HENTHORN(E)-1944 OR 1945, THERE WERE 4 CHILDREN FROM THAT MARRIAGE, GLENDA, ROBERT, JANET, MARY (MY MOM BORN IN 1948)

THEN GLENN MARRIED ALICE MAY LEE IN 1953 - DON'T KNOW IF THERE WERE ANY CHILDREN FROM THIS MARRIAGE - BUT THE OBITUARY SAID THAT HE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY A DAUGHTER KATHERYN - SO I AM ASSUMING THAT HE HAD CHILDREN WITH ALICE.

THEN GLEN MARRIED SHIRLEY CLARK IN 1967 - (ACCORDING TO THE OBITUARY)

IAM SEARCHING FOR MORE INFORMATION. PLEASE CONTACT ME AT HODSON_CHRISTINE@YAHOO.COM

I am searching for information regarding my family ancestry. My mother
Mary Brando - was born in 1948. She was the youngest of 4 children
born in a 5 year period. My mother and 2 sisters were taken by the state
of Illinois and adopted out, her older brother Robert Brando lived in
foster care until he was 18. From the stories we have heard, their
father left and was never heard from again - we don't know if anyone even
knew he had these children...

Their father's name was Glenn Brando. The ONLY Glenn Brando that I
have been able to find any information on was born in Danvers, Illinois
(my mother was born in Bloomington) and is buried in Aurora, Illinois.

I found an obituary for Glenn Brando and in it the obituary states that
Glenn was the son of Hervery (spelling?) and Ethel Brando. It also
stated that he was preceeded in death by a sister Bernice and a brother
Francis.

If you are a great grand daughter to Hurvery Wright Brando - and he is
Glenn's father - then he is my great grandfather as well!!!!

Giuseppe/Guiseppe/Jose/Joseph Brando

Any relatives of Giuseppe (or the other names) Brando who was born in Italy (south don't know where exactly, was born around 1845) and arrived in USA before 1880, was in Manhattan in that year's census and then left US around 1882? I know he came with a son, according to the census his name was Dominick and born in Italy in 1877, I would like to know if there is family of Dominick/Domenico left, and if somebody knows, besides that they departed from Naples between 1878-1880, from which city of Italy they were originally from, thanks.

Hello everyone! I am interested to find people with any knowledge of my great-grandfather, Hurvey Wright Brando from the Rome, NY area. He attended the Academy at Rome, NY. Hurvey had a sister named Nell who married into the Day family. She was the one Brando who corresponded with Hurvey after he was estranged from the his family because of their disapproval of his first marriage. Hurvey's first wife died without children, and Hurvey remarried in the state of Illinois, and fathered six children, from which I descend.
Hope to hear from you,
RSW
