Hi Benny,

my name is Cherry I also have Briffett's in my family tree from Somerset, My grandmother was MAY RICH, she was the daughter of Edwin Rich and SARAH DAVIS. Sarah was the daughter of ABRAHAM VILLIS DAVIS and Sophia Ware. Abraham was the son of Thomas Davis and SOPHIA VILLIS. Sophia was the daughter of John Villis and ELIZABETH BRIFFETT (born 31/aug/1744 Nether Stowey Somerset). Elizabeth was the dughter of NATHANIEL BRIFFETT born 1718 Nether Stowey. and was married to Elizabeth Williams. My Wife has the Briffett surname in her family tree stemming from Tipton and originating from Over Stowey, Somerset. I noticed recently that a submitter has placed a family tree on the IGI section of this site. Could they please get in touch ? Richard Briffett married Martha Wilkins and had children Sarah Ann, abt 1846, Thomas abt 1847, Hannah abt 1848, John Oct 1850, Nathaniel abt 1852 and James born 17/2/1858 Tipton (I have his birth certificate) so know Martha was Wilkins.
