Re: Betty Brigg &Blakey Spencer

Betty Brigg and Blakey Spencer, from what I can determine, were the 4th great grandparents of Lynn Spencer. She was my brother's 1st wife. Therefore they are the 5th great grandparents of my niece Jody Brown.

John Newsom Brigg

I would be grateful if I could get information on John Newsom Brigg (1802-1884). I was given a manuscript written by him in 1872, called A Metrical Paraphrase of Job. I would be interested in a photograph of this gentleman, if such exists. I am compiling an article on this man's writing. I also believe he had a book published in 1859, but I am not certain of this fact. I would dearly like to communicate with family members of this man.

Frederick Algernon Brigg possibly living in Cook, Illinois, 1912

You would think that with such an unusual name, this guy would be easy to research.

Frederick Algernon Brigg born 1882 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. Son of Thomas Hargreaves Brigg (equally difficult to trace)born Keighley 1852. Thomas had a long association with the U.S. as a businessman and exhibitor at the Worlds Columbian Exposition in Chicago 1894 and St Louis Exhibition of 1904. Two other sons Claude Horace and Alfred Kenneth Brigg born 1883 and 1886 took U.S citizenship and wives. Alfred died and was buried in Wyncote Montgomery in 1970 aged 86. Any information regarding any of the above would be greatly appreciated.
