They were mostly butchers and innkeepers, but there was also a showman/circus connection.<br>A generation of almost all daughters meant that the name had almost entirely disappeared from the locality by 1900.<br>Daughter's married names were:<br>Gill (Marylebone, London), Maby (Bristol), Sheldon and Shore (Birmingham), Canter (Plymouth) and Culverwell (Taunton).<br>I would like to hear from anyone with any information or connection. 2005-10-10 18:39:13Z http://boards.ancestry.co.uk/surnames.bromsgrove/1/mb.ashx
