His parents:
William L. BROWN bo 1855 in TN married Sarah Ann DORTON on 16 October 1873. ( She was born 1853 in MO, died 6 Nov. 1940 in Bonne Terre, MO)
His siblings: Jennie A., Ida, Lillie Bell, Richard T., John Edmond, and William B. BROWN.
His grandparents:
Richard BROWN b. 1830 in PA and Caroline ?? b. 1839 in IL

I am searching for Roy A. Brown who was born around 1879 or 1880. His father was John E. Brown according to Roy's marriage license. Roy married Mary Katherine Evans on October 16, 1903 and he was 24 years old at the time. If this is a link, please let me know. Thanks.

My great grandfather was John, he married Carrie Smith. He died in St louis around 1948.He is buried in Doe Run, MO. I am still working on that side and the dorton side. We must be related. Let me know what you find. Sarah Dortons mothers maiden name was Cloud. I believe it is of Indian descent. I am still looking for info on that as well.
