forrester brown

I am looking for information about My Brown family, My great great grandmother was Florence Sarah brown, who became Hipkiss. She had 2 siblings in particular that i am interested in finding information on, Annie Brown B.1884 and especially her youngest brother Forrester Alfred Brown B.1891.

His story is quite sad and has really struck a cord.
When the children we orphaned the 3 youngest, Florence, annie and Forrester, were sent to Marston Green Homes in birmingham. I have records of their Entry to the homes and when they each departed. The two girls went into service with families, and next to forresters name it said "1906 - sent to canada"

I have followed his journey, sent via liverpool with Middlemore homes on a ship to New Brunswick. there he was placed with the Scott family, (who's mother was Scotish.)

He enrolled with the CEF in WW1 in 1915, after a mix up about his age, (said B.1895.) He was on board a boat in october 1915 back to britain in CEF 55th Battalion.
There is a story that in this time he came to see his eldest sister Ellen in Birmingham.

But After this the story hits a wall. i have requested his service records from canada and am still awaiting these, But we dont know whether he stayed in britain or whether he went back to canada??

I am really hoping that someone in this forum has this family line, and may have some news on this family and what became of them.

If anyone does, please message me
Joy

Charles E Brown of Arcanum Ohio b. 1886

My GG-Aunt Maragret (Stager) was married to Charles E Brown - 12/26/1908 in Arcanum,Ohio. Tragically, CHarles died young, only a year or two after their wedding. They were very much in love and my GGAunt never remarried.

My mom inherited all her old pictures when she died and now my mom has passed and I have a few pictures of the Brown family with my GGaunt in them as well.

I'd love to be able to share these with the proper Brown family. Only I am having a hard time finding anything on him.

I believe he was born in Ohio but I admit, its only a guess. I'm also assuming he died on Ohio.

Margaret and Charles did not have any children.

They had a home by the railroad tracks in Arcanium that my GG-Aunt lived in till her death.

http://s591.photobucket.com/albums/ss358/dpieplow/Brown%20Fa...

Do these Brown's LOOK FAMILAR???
Hi! I believe that we are first cousins! My name is Jennifer Lyons- Perry. My Mother's name is Gail Sara Brown-Lyons. Her parents (my Grandparents) names were William Brown & Marion Davis Brown. My Mom (59), who is still alive had 11 siblings! I believe there were 12 children in all. Aunt Joanie, Aunt Peggy, Uncle William, Uncle Richie, Aunt Eileen, Uncle Kenny, Aunt Marion, Aunt Diana, Uncle Eddie, Aunt Baby (Blanche), Aunt Edna, & my Mom, Gail. Aunt Edna, Diana, Marion, Peggy & Eillen are all still alive. Uncle Eddie passed away in the early 2000's. Aunt Baby passed away in 1987. My family is still in touch with Aunt Edna Delutri, Kathy Brown (Uncle Eddie's wife), Aunt Marion & Aunt Peggy.
They lived in South Ozone Park or Jamiaca Queens "Borderline".
I see that u posted this over 2 yrs ago & hope that you still have the same email! I have a bunch of info on the Davis side from a distant relative who contacted my family in the late 90s. My family would love to get in touch! We're always so amazed at the Brown family history!!!!!!!

Again, I really think we are cousins & would love to get in touch!!!!

Brown family in London Middlesex, England area

I am looking for the Brown family from England. I have John Brown with two daughters although I know there is another one that I just haven't identified yet. Mary Brown was born 1799 in Shoreditch, England. She married John Leaper and had a son named William in 1822. After john Leaper died she sent their son to live with her sister and her husband who was a doctor. Unfortunately I have no names for them. Mary Brown then married Charles Timms. Matilda Brown was born 1816 in Long Acre, England and married William Harris in 1843. Does anyone have any of these names in their tree?

Thank you so much for your response. I would be interested in exchanging emails off the site if possible. My email address is JoycieOOO@aol.com. My name is Joyce Tibbs, my mom was Evelyn Christine Thomas, the oldest daughter of Frank Thomas and Annie Beatrice Thompson. Once again, thanks so much for your response. You have filled in several blank spots on my wall.
