Hey Mrs Buentello, I was just wonder about any information you have on Buentello History. I am from San Antonio, TX. My family is from McAllen TX. My fathers name is Francisco Arturro Buentello, the son of Florentino Arturro Buentello, they both have large families with mostly brothers.

Hey Mike,
My father was Octaviano Buentello Jr. His father Octavianop Buentello Sr. was brothers was to Celestino, Florentino, 5 others and one sister we called Tia MeMe(Manuela). I also remember my great grandma Anita who lived to be close to 106. Sound familiar? I am wondering if my great grandfater was Arturo, married to Anita Rodriquez Buentello. My father grew up in Mission and attended LaJoya High School. He had a cousin named Leonel that was killed in the Vietnam war. I don't know who Leonel's father was.I know we have cousins in Corpus as well.

Im looking for any directly related to me. My grandfather was Adolfo Buentello, his brothers and sisters were Jose, Juanita, Martin, Mauricia, Sacarias, Tiburcio, and Benancio. My Great Granfather was Quirino Buentello. My Great-Great Grandfather was Tiburcio Buentello. I believe they are from a town in Mexico called Guerrero, but my grandfather was born in Roma, Texas. Most of the family I know lives around Alice, Texas which is a little west of Corpus Christi. My fathers name is Jose Angel Buentello, I believe he made a thread on here a few years back, but it would be nice to meet some more Buentellos. All of the Buentellos I named are from my fathers side.

holaaaaa, yes your grandfather arnulfo, was my grandmother's brother. her name is gregoria buentello morante. she was born in guerrero. her brother manuel buentello lived in robstown texas, till he passed away. we have many relatives spread throughout south texas.hope to hera from you.

Your Father Pedro and My Maternal grandmother were siblings her name was Maria Concepcion Buetello Cervantes married to Jose Delgado. also daugther of Luiciano Buentello & Maria Cervantes

I'm also related to the Buentello on my Dad side his mother was Nathalia De Leon Buentello her dad was Ernesto De Leon married to Manuela Buentello, Manuela Buentello daughter of Quirino Buentello and (Eugenia Gutierrez) the parents of Quirino were Tiburcio Buentello and Leonarda Negrete
Quirino has several brothers Adolfo Q Buentello, Roque, Genovevo, Jose Arnulfo, Andres, Luciano, Roman Y Arturo and one sister Concepcion Buentello, this one not to be confuse with Concepcion Buentello Cervantes she a nice of the other Concepcion daughter of Luciano Buentello and Maria Cervantes.
I need the name of the parents of Leonarda Negrete to continue my family tree.

I was talking to my mother Evengelina Delgado Buentello, she told me that she has relatives in Encinal but we need to get together to see how are we related.
Her mother was Maria Concepcion Buentello Cervantez married to Jose Delgado.
she had several brothers Pedro, Paulo, Juan Crisoforo, Favian, and one sister Anita Buentello also a half brother Jose Buentello we met him when tio Pedro from Alice, Texas died. oh yes also they raise Maria Magdalena Buentello I think she was a nice of my grandmother Concepcion.
The parents of my grandmother were Luiciano Buentello DOB 1882 and Maria Cervantez. the parents for Luciano were Tiburcio Buentello and Leonarda Negrete.

Looking for any connections of Buentello's. Just started looking again since starting that first thread in 2004. I have only been able to go as far back as my Great Great Grandfather Juan Ignacio Buentello who had two sons Cresencio Buentello, and my Great Grandfather Librado. Much of my family comes from Devine and Sweetwater, Texas from around the late 1800's to early 1900's. Can't seem to find anything else. My mothers father was from Encinal, Texas and his name was Francisco Buentello. I'm not sure if there is any relation but I know he had a brother named Gabriel too and also a sister Flora and maybe another brother whose name I can't remember. I want to say his name was Pete but I'm not sure. He lived in Cotulla Texas.

San Juanita Buentello was married to Paz Buentello and they did lived in Encinal,Tx.,Because his father Zenon Buentello was foreman at the Callahan Ranch. From there they moved to Hebbronville,Tx. Zenon had another brother in Hebbronville so that is where they moved and lived. San Juanita is still alive and lives there.

My name is Luis Carranza. My mother was Josefa Buentello from Monterrey. I dont know a lot about the family either. I know I still have a lot of cousins in Monterrey but have not seen them in a few years. Some of the aunts and uncles I remember were Herberto, Pancho, and Lisa. Let me know if you know them.
