I'm working on the Filmer line. According to my informatiom, John Buick, born 1822, Montrose, Angus, Scotland, arrived in South Australia on the "Malcolm" in 1846, occupation -shipwright. He married Francis Anne Filmer on April 10, 1848. They had sixteen (16) children and the family continues to thrive. There may be more about John Buick, but not immediately to hand.
