Hi Louise. I don't think my info will be of much help but here goes. My husband's grfather was Robert Buick b. 1866-8? in Antrim Ireland and emigrated to NZ were he died in 1942. His wife was Agnes Muir Hardy. Another family of Buicks in Ireland, Robert Buick & Martha White, also had a Robert Buick b 4 Jan 1859 who emigrated to Canada, nothing more is known of him. Another child of Robert & Martha's is Nicholas Buick, emigrated to NZ of which I have been in touch with his descendants for you but no luck with your Robert. Robert seemed to be a common name carried in the Buick line. I'm sure they all tie in together somewhere. I hope someone else may be able to help you.
