I am looking for a male Bungay born arround 1910 that married my cousin Theresa Haberkern. He and Theresa had 4 kids, one of which may be Stephen Bungay b abt 1955. Theresa and husband were born and died in Staten Island, NY.

This is in response to anyone related to Karyn Bungay. I am. She is my "Aunt" - 1/2 sister to my Mom Sally Piccolo (nee Bungay) from Staten Island, NY. To be sure we are talking about the same people (I'm pretty sure we are) My mothers fathter's name is Harry and her step-mom (Karyn's bio-mom) Francis. Brothers are Tom, Harry, Billy and Patty.

Hi I am researching my ancestors with the above name seemingly spelt a variety of ways, who originated from Hampshire ( I believe they were located near the New forest). My branch of the family migrated to Finchley where I was born. Names included by marriage include Emily Frances Sillence, Harriett White and Bridget Josephine McGoldrick

Bungay as a middle name

I have 5 people in my tree who have Bungay as their middle name. I am sure it must be the surname of one of the women but I cannot seem to find the link. Other names in my tree are...Crocker and Hicks all in Dorset.

I am tracing my family tree back and think we could have a connection my GGG grand Father married a Ann Bungay from stanford in the Vale - I have her father as Edward Bungay married to a Mary ? and he was the son of your William Bungate
I would be grateful if you could confirm this info and if you could give me any info at all on the bungay's or the Carter's I would be very gratefull

I was once a Bungay, live up north in Sheffield. I love the name and even though i no longer carry it legally its allways what im reffered to as. i know theres more familys under the name in Weston Super Mare. Hope this helps.

Hi, I am sure we are related. My grandfather's name was James Gilbert Bungay. He was the son of Henry and Jennie (Snow) Bungay. James Bungay was maried to Irene Smile and had a daughter (my mother) Frances Irene Bungay. Frances Bungay married Charles Thomas McKnight. And I am one of their daughters. Carol. All of Staten Island.

Richard BUNGAY married Jenny HOBBES mid 1700s maybe in the Isle of Wight or in Hampshire. England.
Also there is a BUNGEY family in Australia and I wonder if anyone has collected any UK family researches of the 1700-1880s

Help with Tracing William Bungate (Bungay)

I have been researching my maternal grandmothers family name for some years, and have been very lucky as my line remained in the village of Goosey, Berkshire for over 100 years.

Grandmother Florence Bungay
Great grandparents George Bungay & Elizabeth (Bull)
GG grandparents James & Martha (Smith)
GGG grandparents Thomas & Fanny
GGGG grandparents Henry & Mary Thatcher
GGGGG grandparents William Bungate & Mary Cooper

And this is where my problems start I have not been able to find the Birth of William or anything that connects him to any possible's that I have found?

Any advice or help would be appreciated

Looking for anyone related to Karyn Bungay, Had a Daughter by the name of Wendi Marie Drolet on 09-23-1971, Wendi was adopted by her step-father don't know the last name now. But her Biological Father Allen would Love to see his daugther..Wants her to know that she has 1 Sister Mary (27) and 3 Brothers Allen Jr.(24) and the twins Michael and David (22) Any Info Call 1-570-424-5088.
