looking for folks who own Burgess book references

Surnames: Burgess, Burener
Colonists of New England and Nova Scotia: Burgess and Heckman Families by KENNETH FARWELL Burgess (Hardcover - Jan 1, 1956)
Now I am also open to considering other books as the likey place for my ancestral trail.
I am hoping Thomas Burgess born Aug 1775 in New Jersey, who married Christina Burener born 22 July 1779, also of New Jersey, can be found by someone out there who knows considerably more than I do about the Colonial Period Burgess lines, and in particular, this elusive New Jersey line.
It will not work to ask me to donate DNA...I have a mixed line...male, male, female, male, female, etc.
Anyone have any clues or suggestions on how to track a man when you only know what state he was born in...not even a county reference?
