Philip Jacob Burkhart was my Greatgrandfather his fathers name was also Philip Burkhart.
My Greatgrandfather was born in July 27 1878 and died on June 29 1917. If We tie up let me know I have more information.

Charles married Ellen Barry in Austin (Chicago, Illinois in 1877 and they remained there and raised a family.
US census says both of Charles parents b. Prussia
