hi, I am looking for info on German Buxton born 1785 Alfreton, Derbyshire, England. He married Elizabeth (Elizth) Henshaw in 1812 and had at least one child-Elizabeth Buxton b1816c,
He was arrested and charged with treason in 1818 and sent to Australia for life (Sydney nsw)he recieved a full pardon in 1830 but i am unable to trace his movements ie if he returned to britain or stayed on in sydney. His brother was John Buxton born 1793 who married Ann Elliott. Any info on him would be great please i have been trying to trace him, his wife and children for a very long time. Also any info on Sarah Speed born 1848 in Hucknall Nottinghamshire would be greatly appreciated this is another person been trying to trace in my tree with not much luck. my email address is agrebby@talktalk.net thankyou in advance for any help. jackie
