Hi, my great-great grandpa immigrated from Ireland, and my great grandpa (Thomas Henry Purden Cairns) was said to be born in PA, or around there. The Cairns I'm related to are the Cairns who are somehow tied to the city Cairns (pr. cains) in Australia, related to Dukes and/or Earls, and has something to do with a valley here in the US. They lost it in a gambling game, it was a big valley. Covers up Virginia, and Mary Land, sound familiar?
