I believe this to be Floyd Alton Calvery, adopted son of William and Della Calvery, Justin, Texas. He was born 12/10/25, died 1/9/02. He served in the Army during WWII, later was married four times, with children born to three of the wives. I have the names of the children, but their whereabouts are unknown. William, Floyd's father, was my father's brother. I do not know Floyd's birth name, he was adopted as an infant.

Nettie Calvery Brewington - Texas / Oklahoma

Looking for information on Burnetta “Nettie” Brewington, b abt 1845, in Rusk County, TX. Nettie’s maiden name was Stewart and she was married several times, first to John H. Calvery, second to James Whitener and lastly to Bernie Brewington. Nettie died in Oklahoma in about the 1930’s, Nettie was related through marriage to the Ward family may have been living with them near Harrah when she died. Does anyone have a picture of Nettie? I’ve been told that one existed. Does anyone know where she is buried or the date she died? Will share all information.
CAVERLY surname DNA Project

I am researching my North American roots for the surname CAVERLY. There maybe many different variations in how our surnames are spelled and often they have changed over time. I have started a DNA project to try and determine if there is any possible link in our family trees with slightly different spelling of the name.

Go to www.familytreedna.com and search for the name Caverly to get all the details. Contact me if you have any questions.

Regards,

Paul Caverly
For those of you that have communicated with me in the past concerning the Calvert line using Frankmulderbach@aol.com as my email please contact me at frankmulder@insightbb.com also after an indepth research I have found that my search should have been in the direction of the CALVERY geneology and not Calvert. My ancestry stems mainly in the Kentucky area(Scott county).

Thanks for all of your help,

Frank Mulder
