Searching for Ramos family line.

My family line (starting with my grandfather) Santos Alfaro Ramos, Donaciano Ornelas Ramos, Pedro Partida (unclear on the Partida) Ramos. That's where my certainty stops. Pedro's father was possibly Justo Ramos. They lived in San Luis Potosi. Donaciano left some time around 1910 or later. If you think you may be related send me a message, I'd like to share some information.

rramosjr29@yahoo.com or you can send a message through the message board if you'd like

Does anyone have this couple in their family tree? It is said they are from Mier, but I do not see them in the Ancestry.com records. I believe he was born circa 1860. I do have a note that the father may be Ramon Canales + Leonor Garcia, but I did not note my source. This is generally a Hebronville/Duval county family.

Israel Yzaguirre
usaeagle6@aol.com

Juan/Jose Alvino Canales of Camargo

I'm doing so genealogical work for a friend and was hand a handwritten paper that states that Alvino Canales Sepulveda's father was Francisco Javier Canales de la Garza and then follows that lineage all the way to Spain. The problem is that I can't find a record of Juan Francisco Javier Canales de la Garza ever having a child named Juan/Jose Alvino Canales or him having a relationship with his mother, Ana Francisca/Jacinta Pena. Does anyone have this record or an explanation for this anomoly?

Hello Inga, hope you receive this reply. Andrew RUHREN, to whom you replied way back in 2004 is my mom's cousin. Did you two ever figure out if we were related?

Our Louis (or Ludwig) TSCHANTRÉ (b 1827) md Cécelia BÖLL (b 1824). His father was apparently Carl RAUBER per some record I'd have to ask my mom abt. Carl RAUBER did not marry Louis's mother, one Elisabeth (or Lisette) TSCHANTRÉ (b 14 Jul 1801 in Shüpfen, Switzerland), so in our case, a matrilineal line become the name passed down the generations.

Her parents were Abraham TSCHANTRÉ & Barbara STEHLIN. Again, I'd have to double check w/ my mom on where she got these names. However, I did just see another one of your posts & saw YOU have an Abraham TSCHANTRÉ, so I think we need to talk more!

Sorry, I'm on a library computer & am almost out of time. I have more I can tell you if you'd like. My membership is a guest membership (not a paying one), so let me give you my email so you can contact me directly. It is: leia_tyndall@hotmail.com Please let me know if you receive this message & whether or not any of this helps.
to Rodrigo Canales: Hello Rodrigo, I am Gilbert Canales Fuentes. My Mother was Julia Canales from Sabinas, Coahuilla Mexico, Daughter of Macario Canales and Senobia Murgia. Mother was born in 1905 in Sabinas and moved to Merced, Texas after her Fathers death. This is a small town out side of San Antonio, Texas,She was 5 years old at the time. As She got older Mother met and married
Macario Bustos Fuentes from the Merced, New Brunsfield ,Texas area. Mother and Father later moved to Houston,Texas where they raised 9 children. My Mothers father was Macario Canales ,son of Jose Maria Canales from Lampasos de Naranjo, Mexico. who had and raised 12 children with his wife. My Mother told Us She was half-sister to Benito Canales, "the Revolutionary"
She never saw Benito after She moved to Texas. Benito Canales was disowned by his family because He was not a Law Abiting Citizen and they were ashamed of Him even though He became famous( Infamous is the correct word). Benito left a lot of children around. Some in Texas some in Mexico and some in California and never married the women and i think that is why some of his descendents are having trouble finding relatives.Benito Canales' Family was related to Jose Tomas Canales from Brownsville, Texas. He had Jewish Blood from a Jew who married a Canales. His last name was Goseaskoseas.
Where do You live Mr. Rodrigo Canales? If you can make a connection please write to me and let me know....at lease let Me know wher You and Your family now live....Thank You for Your inquirie.....Sincerely Gilbert Canales Fuentes

was half sister to Benito Canales

to Rodrigo Canales: Hello Rodrigo, I am Gilbert Canales Fuentes.

Marcelino Perez was Hilaria's father and I don't
know her mother's name. I believe that she was born in Mier Tamaulipas, Mexico and had family in Monterrey.

I am looking for any information why mr. canales was looking for my grandfather around 1955 in floresville and san antonio. I heard there was an office fire and files were lost. Mr Canales was looking for benito pena lara about oil in suspense and land. My grandfathers grandfather, Atilano Pena had left millions of dollars in oil and land, near edinburgh, this was told to my grandfathers step family by mr.canales. Juanita valles and atilano pena had concepcion valles de pena in sabinal around 1891 and got to floresville around 1920. Robert Rodriguez p.o.box 59109 san antonio, texas 78259.

Marcos Canales (born approx 1900) in El Salvador

Hello, I'm looking for more information about my great-grandfather named Marcos Canales who had a child with Romelia Ceron in El Salvador back in the early 1920's. The child was named Carlos Alberto Ceron.

I don't know their exact births, but here are my approximations:
Marcos Canales (born approx. 1900's)
Romelia Ceron (born approx. 1900's)
Carlos Alberto Ceron (born approx 1920's)

I'm pretty sure Carlos Alberto Ceron ended up settling in Juayúa, Sonsonate, El Salvador because that is where his wife and children lived.

I've attached an image with a small lineage tree for reference. If you have any information, please let me know.

Thanks,
Nelson C.

P.S. Please respond to this posting, as the previous posting was a duplicate that should get deleted soon. Thx. =)
P.S.

I've yet to confirm this, but I was wondering if in your research, you've come across any Pacheco's?

My grandparents migrated to the U.S. around 1910, entering Texas through Laredo and eventually settling in Fort Worth, Texas where they raised 11 children.

My grandfather Fernando Pacheco (1885-1973) was born in Tanchicuin, Veracruz (near Panuco) and his father Domingo Pacheco is where the trail starts to cool off. No records yet on Fernando, Domingo or Domingo's wife Francesca Gomes(z).

Could you please help? I would appreciate it very much and I would be willing to assist you in any way I can.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Sincerely,

Isac James Pacheco Jr.
Hello.
I am looking for information on Jose Maria Canales from Lampasos de Naranjo, Nuevo Leon born about 1823 in Lampasos or any of the Descendants (Jose Maria
Canales had 12 children) The family were all Baptist and some of the family use to come visit my Mother, Julia Murgia Villalobos Canales Fuentes who moved to Houston from Sabinas, Coahuilla Mexico around 1905; Julia had 9 children and lived to the age of 90. The 4th child of Jose Maria Canales, named Macario Canales lived in Sabinas, Coahuilla and was my Mothers Father. Any kind of news on this family will be appreciated.....Thank you....Gilbert C.
