The Joseph Caronia I'm searching for was born in the 1940's, lived in Brooklyn, NY, and fathered a child on 11/18/63, birth name Marie Corita Caronia, I was adopted through the Angel Guardian Home.

My great grandmother was Francesca Carona born c. 1840's in Bisacquino, Palermo, Sicily. She married Antonio Tamberella c. 1860's in Bisacquino. They had at least 2 children, Guisseppe (Joe) and Unknown. Their son Joe was born in Bisacquino July 13, 1868, came to Donaldsonville, La. circa 1890. He was in the Navy in Italy, worked on a plantation in Donaldsonville in the 1890's, moved to New Orleans c. 1900. Francesca's brother or cousin or uncle Guisseppe Caronia was born c. 1835 in Bisacquino, he married Rosa (unknown). Their children were Lilly, Manuel, Michael, Rosa, Vita, Sylvestre, Carlo, Antonio, Joseph, Francesco, Mary (born 1858 to 1879). I believe all lived in Donaldsonville for a time, some moved to Alabama, Connecticut, Lutcher, La., New Orleans, La., Baton Rouge La. Francesco Caronia married RosaLea Tamberella in Donaldsonville, La. in 1891. Their children were Manuel, Annie, Guiseppe (Joe), Rosa, August, Thomas Michael, Peter, Sam, Anthony. My great-grandmother's (Tina Caronia) family was from Palermo, Sicily. They moved to Louisiana in the early 1900s. They then moved to Bryan, Texas. Anyone have any info?
