We might be related! I am a descendant of los CARRION and in a book I borrowed from NY written about my ancestors it is mentioned that the CARRION of Juncos are of the same family line that leads back to Malaga, Spain and further than that.

Hi,
I am looking for history on Antonia Carreon who married Jose Roman. She was born in Mexico around 1896 and they had 2 children, Amelia and Maria Margarita in the 1920's. Antonia later married Juan Jose Ceniceros and had Ventura Teresa around 1928. I believe she was connected to Chihuahua and Zacatecas.

I am sooo sorry, somehow I missed this message. I'm a little stuck, too. I have no other information on her except for some long ago stories from my Godmother's brother, Lorenzo Perez. He told me years ago that Francesca was French and her family disowned her for marrying Augustin. He was a charcoal maker. I found his father's name on his death certificate. His father was Jose Maria Gonzales but nothing more. I am currently researching sources for information in Mexico and would be willing to pass along anything I get. I am Albert and Carmen Alcala's youngest daughter. Are you Irene's daughter? I remember Tia Rosa very well. I have not been able to find anything in Mexico. Do you have any idea if Francisca or Augustin had siblings and or their names? I am stumped at the border! I could use a lead even a small one. I appreciate your message and it is good to find a family member interested in our ancestry.

Looking for any family members or friends of Cruz Carrion. Born 06/03/03 or 05/03/04 Mexico. Mother's name Francisca Maganas, Father's name cruz carrion. He was married to Elena mendez on March 26, 1929, orange calif. He lived in Redondo Beach Ca.1929,Blackfoot Idaho 1939,Woodland Ca.1940,Merced Ca. 1942 ,Salinas Ca.1947, San Joaquin Ca. Death records show he died in Febuary of 1972 in San Joaquin Ca.(We do not know where he is layed to rest) Trying too find closure for his son, who last saw him as a young boy.

your story sound just like mines. by any chance do you know you father's parents names? my father name is ramon luis carrion torres born in manati, puerto rico. his mother name is navidad torres and his dad is ramon carrion. all my father family members live in NYC. in brooklyn as much as i know. i have a sister who lives in the bronx i think her name is mariam .i do know of a aunt by the name of carmen who lives around pikin ave in brooklyn. i my dad has 8 children and i'm the youngest.

my name is rosemary carrion and here is my story . . .
my mom (maria) met my father ramon l carrion when she was 17 yrs old. he was 49 yrs old. he married my mother and one year later i was born. after my birth things were not going good in there marriage so they decided to have a divoreced after that my father left brooklyn, ny and went back to manati, puerto rico where he bought a home and been there ever since. when i turn 14 yrs old i recevied a letter from him he was looking for me through the s.s office. that year i met my aunt carmen who lives naer piken ave in brooklyn, ny she told me that i had 7 sbilngs and that i was the youngest out the seven. the oldest one was a man and he was near his 40's already and a sister name marium don't know if i spelled that name right!) who lives in the bronx. out the 7 one was born mentally challenged and as soon he was born the mother right there and then gave him up for adoption. when it coms to him it is going to be harder to find him! the oldest brother should be older than that now! recently my mom saw my aunt again and told me that my father is planning to come back to brooklyn, ny, but none of his family members want him in their house and that i have a uncle that lives here in philadelphia. my aunt did not give my mom any information regarding my uncle living in philly. if anyone no anyone that reconizes my father name please contact me at labarbie30@yahoo.com am 31 yrs old and i finally want this chapter in my book to be over!

Anyway, I just posted the Carrion GEDCOM on
Ancestry World Tree. Ancestry.com says that it takes

The tree starts with Diego Carrion and Antonia Rico their child's name is Jose Manuel Carrion born in
Mission Santa Cruz De Tapacolmos, Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico in 1776.

Maria Osita Juana Carrion Mendoza Rea is my
great-great Grandmother. I've attached a gedcom
file of the Carrion (Carreon) Family tree from
Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Maria Osita's father was Faustino Carrion and her
mother was Maria Antonia Mendoza. Maria Osita
was born in San Pablo Meoqui, Aldama, Chihuahua, Mexico on 02 Mar 1841 and she died in Tucson, Arizona 16 Jul 1928. She was married to Patrick Bradford Dailey and after his death in 1875 she married David Rea and eventually moved to Tucson.
Maria Osita and Patrick Bradford Dailey had five offspring, but Maria did not have any children with
David Rea.

Maria Osita and her family fled Mexico in a wagon train
(date undetermined) because of the revolution in Mexico. Maria Osita and her family settled in Las Cruces, New Mexico and then scattered to the winds.

I've constructed a very rough family tree of Maria Osita's
ancestors according to Baptismal Certificates provided by the familysearch.org website. It goes back to 1776 with Diego Carrion (Carreon?). It is very rough and in the beginning stages.

Maria Osita's father, Faustino was married three times and Maria Osita was the issue of Faustino and Maria Antonio Mendoza. It is estimated that Faustino had twenty-five children as products of the three marriages.
I know little of Maria Osita sibilings and half-sibilings. A situation I am trying to correct. I only listed the Carrion children in the family tree I can document

Spouse 1: Maria de Jesus Tarin
Spouse 2: Josepha Villa
Spouse 3: Maria Antonia Mendoza

Yes, Liz is my mom! How are you? I've been trying to do some research also.The only thing I know about your grandfather (Antonio) is birth dates and death dates. Also that his mother's maiden name was Orosco or Orozco. He also had a sister named Maria. She was born Jan 17, 1886, died May 24, 1947 in Los Angeles. Do you have any different info??

My fathers fathers name was Antonio Carrion and he was married to Nieves Burrell Carrion. They lived during my fathers childhood in Thatcher and Safford, Arizona. Earlier than that there is no one left from the "old ones" to give further history. Do you have any therories? Thank you very much for your help and this is very interesting.

Julia Machado Carrion

Julia Machado Carrion passed away at Alderson Convalescent Hospital in Woodland on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004 at age 85.

Mrs. Carrion was born March 17, 1919 in Winters at Sky High Ranch in the Olive District. She was a Woodland resident and a former Arbuckle resident. As a young girl she loved to read and take long walks. She collected glass birds and dolls as a hobby. She enjoyed her yard, with many camellias and roses.

Julia married John R. Carrion, Jr. of Winters on Sept. 26, 1941. She worked at Mare Island during World War II as a riveter with her sister Connie. From there, they moved to Arbuckle, where they farmed almonds for many years. Later she took a job at the Arbuckle School District until she retired, at which time they moved to Woodland. She was very active in Eastern Star and the Rebekahs, which she enjoyed very much.
She is survived by her sons Allen Carrion and his wife, Barbara, of Arbuckle, and Richard Carrion, of Sacramento; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters Carmen Borden, of Vacaville, Toni Ishtertz, of Woodland and Marian Kammerer, of Winters; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Carrion, Jr. and her sisters, Frances Ramos, Mary Ramos, Lola Ramos and Connie Azuar.

Visitation was held on Sunday, Nov. 21. A funeral was held on Monday, Nov. 22, at Arbuckle Methodist Church. Interment followed at the Arbuckle Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
McNary-Moore Funeral Service of Colusa assisted the family with arrangements.
