I am looking for information about James Carruthers who married Rachel Warder, daughter of Solomon Warder of Bucks Co., PA, a Quaker who immigrated to America with his father, Willoughby Warder around 1699. Rachel was the widow of John Clark or Clarke of Bucks Co, PA. James and Rachel were married in New Jersey on July 24, 1733. hey lived for several years in Falls Township, PA. It is possible that James Carruthers is buried in Fairfax County, VA. His descendents lived in or near Loudoun Co, VA. James and Rachel possibly had three children, Mary, John and James. James married Christian "Clarissa" Gore. Their son Thomas Gore married Martha "Polly" Myers. Their son John married Malinda Nixon and their son Joel married Sarah Thomas.
