Actually, I found these people, I believe in my family tree... My great-grandfather William A. Castellano had a brother Giuseppe, who had (among many children) Gaspare, Maria, and Rosalia. Their dates just about match those on the document you found! Feel free to look in my family tree for more info!

But no, I do not believe there is a family link. None of the history that you briefed me on has happened to any member of the "Castellanos/Marquez" family branch. The "Castellanos" name is distinctive and it might be part of our history but nothing that I have heard about.

Is there a possibility that my nana Juanita is related to these Castellanos? She married Antonio Rodriguez in Santa Cruz de la Soledad, Jalisco, Mexico and had two boys. Manuel C. Rodriguez [my Father] and Antonio. My tata died before my tio was born. My nana later met and married another man named Augustin Santos. They later relocated to Guadalajara where they ran a tortilla business. My nana is believed to have died somewhere around 1985 or 1986. I just started doing research on my Castellanos/Rodriguez family. Any information you could share would be so greatly appreciated.

Did all the Castellanos children migrate to Texas?

This could be a start to finding the missing pieces of the Castellanos side of my Family. Thank you Thank you. I do not know my Nana Juanita [Juana] Castellanos [Maiden name] parents or family. She married Antonio Rodriguez and had only 2 sons, my father Manuel and my uncle Antonio. My grandpa Antonio died right before my uncle Antonio was born. My Nana Juanita met and married another man named Augustin Santos and relocated to Guadalajara. They ran a tortilla factory out of their basement. I believe my nana Juanita died somewhere around 1985 or 1986.

My name is Sonia and on May 21st of this year I found my Birth Father Manuel Castellanos Rodriguez. His Family was also from Santa Cruz de la Soledad, Jalisco Mexico. I am also getting bits and pieces of information from my Father Manuel. The name "Los Altos de Jalisco" came up in my notes recently. Was Los Altos a town? Looking for any information regarding Giuseppe Castellano and his three children GASPARE, ROSARIA and MARIA.
The three children came to America in 1920 as seen on the attached record. MARIA b 8 DEC 1901 settled in Chicago, IL. with husband MICHAEL (michele) BARONE and had three children JOHANNA(joann), FRANCIS(fae) AND LUCCA(louis) all born between 1922 and 1929.
Also attached is the naturalization index card I was able to verify by the witness names, is the information from this card useful in locating other naturalization documents?
Would like to find additional information about Father Giuseppe, unknown mother, census records, etc.
Hoping someone can help with this brick wall.

My grandfather Jose Castellanos came from Octolan also. He was married to Guadalupe can't remember her last name. She was always Juica to us. My great grandmother was called Juica Katita. There was also Lopez's as his brothers too.

We have recently found an Ylefonso Yrisarri Ysain married to a
Cathalina Castellanos Navarro.

So far we have found the following children for them:
Pedro Yrisarri Castellanos
Alfonso Yrisarri Castellanos
Joseph Francisco Yrisarri Castellanos
and Ana Catharina Yrisarri Castellanos
-all born bet. 1658 and 1666

All found from Baptism records from Diócesis of Calahorra y La Calzada
-except for Pedro which states Diócesis of Bilbao.
(Spain)

We have information to share on Pedro's descendants, who lived in the San German
area of Puerto Rico.

Hi Anette. I am still interested in the name Repollet. I have very limited information on this name and you are one of the few to respond to my question. I am happy that the name is still going strong, especially in New Jersey. Do you know of a Castellanos/Repollet connection in your family? Hi! I`m looking for my family history... my grandfather`s name was Alberto Castellanos Gonzalez. His family originally was from Jalisco, Mexico, I think. His father died when he was a small boy and he ended up marrying Ana Ma. Villegas and living in Sonora, Mexico.
Some "family" names are Eleuterio, Apolonio, Emilio.
I can`t remember how many sisters or brothers he had, but I do remember polo/apolonio, and catalina.
