Their has been quite a bit of information printed about Jacob Castle (Cassel) the Hunter. And Castle Woods
The lineage I have for him is:
Yellis Cassel 1590-1681
his son Johannes 1639-1691
his son Peter 1673-1749
and his son Jacob Castle the hunter 1717-1789
This line of Yellis and Johannes are the line that came from Kriesham, Palatinate, Pfalz Germany to Germantown, Pennsylvania which is the one that my Ydna matches.
Have you listed your dna on Y-search. I havn't been to their site for awhile I guess I should take another look around. Have you found any of your Cassels in South Carolina.
