When looking up Cornelius Dickinson who I believe was my great great great grandfather I saw the name Knower and also wondered how they might be related to the Dickinson family. I don't think she was related but if you look into the 1880 census you will see her again at age 76 and it looks like it says she was a boarder. It is under Marcena Dickinson of Rockland County.
