We searched long for a John Albert Kay, finally found he was John Albert Cay married to my great grandmother, Lucy Hammonds on Sept 28 1882 in Union County, Arkansas. Grandmother had 3 children by him and left for Clark county without ever speaking of him again. He was already married to a woman in Louisiana named Louazer Missouri Gilmore and had several other children. I need info on his mother and father, where he originated, etc. His birth date is 1854.

hi so my family came from england and possibly scotland. Theo Cay came over in the late 1800's, he is my 2 greats grandfather. his fathers name was christopher Cay who had a parish in skidby, england. his father was Robert Burdon Cay who lived in Durham Sunderland but i don't know who his father was but if this is somehow related to your line that would be GREAT!!!!

I am looking for information Jim Cay or James Cay the father of James L. Cay born 1893 OK. I have no bothers or sisters to go by for james or Jim I also have a name Gann Cay. I have a marrige record for a James Cay to a Rebecca E. Barton but iam not sure if its the right James Cay it only gives his fathers name Gann Cay , but it could be the wrong James. There is aso reason to believe that he may have been married to a Jane Briscoe. If this correct they also had 2 other children Walter and Bella. So if anyone out there can help me please lets connect or if I can help you. Thanks

hello, that is my was dad fred cay he has 4 childrn gevena, bruce,johnp.cay and jefferson d.cay I know that we must be relations. my father died in FL. pleasae contact me I realy never meet any of my fathers family. Enda was the only one I ever met. I never met my grandmother anna. Anna is my middle name my father named me after her. I would very much like to talk to you. You posed this a lonf time ago. I went to the Cay site on myfamily.com but could not access any information for Cay even though I registered.

I was trying to research my grandfather John Peter Fry of Cumberland County PA. and while looking in the 1910 Census I was matched up to John P. Cay.

All seven of his children match up to my father's siblings. This seems to me to be to exact to be a coincidence.

Do you know of any FRYs in your family? Can you give me any dates for your family?

If your Cay family is from Puerto Rico, I know that my ancestors came from the Dominican Republic from Tulon France in circa 1700's. They were French Huegonat Sailors, I don't know that they were French or that they just lived there, and landed in the Dominican Republic. Then they went to Cuba, and then to The USA.
So we may have a connection there.
I am Phillip Cay, My father was Raymond Cay, his father was John Presley Cay, and JP Cay's father was Henry F. Cay.
I hope we can find a connection.

Hi, my name Ivan E Velez Cay, I'm from Puerto Rico, my grandfather name was Julio Cay and have several brothers. As far I know is that he is from Juncos, PR and the family name is disperse in Las Piedras and Juncos. However, I was told that they came to Puerto Rico via the Domincan Republic from Europe or the middle east. I need help in getting this information.

I'm looking for information on a George Cay, born 1810 in NH and married a Miranda Blood from Weathersfield, VT. Their children were Ann Augusta (married to a Taft) and Jane (a/k/a Jennie, married to a Williams). In 1850, George and Miranda were living in MA, but I have no information on George's family prior to 1850.

Thanks for offering to help,however the only information that i have of Godfrey is that he was the father of twins born to Isabella McGavin in December 1860 in Glasgow.He admitted paternity of Annie and George but i do not know if he and Isabella ever married.

her relatives are a sister clara [ cahill] brother tom brother norman sister nellie could be gotts.

george cay had a son georg gorden cay,his son is michael cay born 1948. We think george cay was born in [ gatesead england ] we think originated from the carribean.

Don't know if you have received a reply, but I just came across your query.

In the 1900 census there is Anais E. Cay living in Charleston, born Sept 1866 - living in a home with her sister, Marie Lafitte. So she must have been living with them in 1870. Hope this is information you have not had already.

I have a copy of the entire famlily of AE CAY.
His family came from France in circa 1700.
Many of the women were French, the wifes.
The Cay Family from France came from Tulon.
