Hi Cheryl, thanks for that..nothing can ring a bell because he knows nothing..his father died in 2003, never knew him, never met his grandparents or auntie's uncles, doesn't know their names or even where they were from, just his own dads name and birthe/death dates?? If anyone knows him (my husbands dead father) or is related to him who could give us more information that would be great..we have searched for years now..if he could just find a relative to start us off that would help.

My husbands name is Matthew, his father was Albert Edward Cheltenham born 1937 died 2003...thats is the extent of the knowladge my husband has about where he comes from!!! We would really appreciate any help building his family tree.

Yes. my husband is Matthew Cheltenham and his father was Albert Edward Cheltenham. We are from Manchester and other than ourselves we know no ther cheltenhams. He was not close to his father so has no idea about where he comes from.
