Garner family ties to Chrisman family

Surnames: Garner, Pennington, Chrisman
My ggrandmother was Elizabeth Chrisman Pennington 1871-1951. Her maternal line comes from John Garner 1634-1702 and Susanna Keene 1646-1716. I was wondering if any one knows of connections between the Garner and Chrisman families ? Have been curios where her middle name originated.
