I am searching for Margaret Christiana who married John Wolfe. It is believed they lived in the Hudson NY area. They had one son John H Wolfe Jr, probably born 1920. Margaret was married before and had several children: Warren & George Speer, Raymond Coons etc. John Sr is buried in Stuyvesant NY and was born 1899 and died 1968.

Hello Karen,
I have Clifford's information on his birth and death basics from the census and SSDI records I explored and a couple of "cousins". What I am looking for is the name of his wife if he married. I found in 1900 census records and the Ulster Co. archive web site (marriage records) that Effie his mother, parents were Mathew and Melissa Jones and that she had 4 siblings and when she married Jacob B. Christiana, but I have not been able to find anything on Effies' death. Cliffords' sister Anna...do you know when she was born, married or died?

Do you happen to know of a Jim Ayers (living) that is related to this family group through the Quick family I believe? I have only seen a few postings from him and he has not responded to email yet.
FYI ...Jacob Christiana is Jacob D. not B. sorry...which I assume is Jacob Dewitt Christiana.

My Aunt Marion was looking for information on
my Grandfather ( Clifford Christiana).
All the information that I have from my mother
is: Clifford's parents are Effie Jones & Clifford Christiana
from New York. My Grandmother (Helen) was married to their son (Clifford) and had one daughter (my mother). Clifford and Helen divorced and Clifford re-married Edith and went on to have 5 children. My Grandfather passed away in the late 60's. He was around 47 or 49 yrs old. I belive my Great-Grandfather had a sister who's name is Ann or Anne? My mother never new what her father's orgin was. In old pictures he has dark hair and brown eyes. If you have any more information. I would love to hear from you.. Thank You.

The 1920 and 1930 census records show that Anna was born about 1918. Other than that, I have the same information that you have.

I too have a Clifford Christiana of Ulster Co., New York...he was born to Jacob and Effie (Jones) in September 1915 and died February 1966. Perhaps we can help each other fill in some blanks?

James is listed in the 1930 Bergen County, New Jersey census with his wife Mary and 3 children, Julia age 14, Felix age 12 and George age 9. Census shows James's father born in Italy.

Eliz married George CHARLES from WALES.
G-grandfather CHRISTIANNA said to be born in Denmark. Looking for any info at all on this line, such as it is. As far as I know they were pretty much in NJ NY until 1940'S.
