Daniel Clap in PA b. ~1800

I am trying to find information on one Daniel CLAP, the father of Josiah Clap (> Klapp > Klopp) who is my 3rd great grandfather.

According to the Herr Genealogy, entry 960 on page 57, Fanny Herr married Josiah Clap, son of Daniel Clap and Susan Staman.

Josiah Clap was born in 1821, died 1860. Fanny married Josiah in 1845. This marriage is confirmed in a Lebanon Twp PA newspaper announcement of the same year, but no information on parents (or place of marriage) is given.

Any leads will be greatly appreciated.
Rick
