Annie Clapton is my Great Great Grandad's sister. Have family tree back to 1775. I'm on genes reunited if you want to view tree, I can't suss this gedcom malarkey!

It's been a long time since we last corresponded. Have you had any luck with Elizabeth? I'm just about where I was with Jesse last time we wrote, he sure has been a tough nut to crack. However, I might have had a break tonight. I found a Jesse Clapton marrying in 1868 in Greene co. Will need to see if I can find this Jesse in the 1870 Greene Co. census to see if he is close to matching.
