I am embarking on the massive job of building a family tree for all CLARKS around the world, as an extension to my family tree.

I am looking for information regarding the following CLARKS, which are not in connecting families at this point, but I hope to connect them all later as they are all my ancestors:

Graham J. Clark, who married Helen Rhonda Skinner, born 18 October 1945 at the Lyndhurst Private Hospital, Ipswich, Queensland, Australia. Marriage date 21 May.

John Clark, who had a child Richard Clark. Richard married Meria Tuxford born 6 August 1820 in Wellingore, Lincolnshire, England.

William J. Clark, who married Ida Mildred Hollier, born 30 May, 1894 in Smithfield, New South Wales, Australia , died 14 March 1975 at her daughter Dulcie's home in Taree, New South Wales, Australia. William and Ida married on 24 March, 1917 in Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia.

Valma Pearl Clark, born 1922 married John Charles Maxted, born 1920, died 1990 . They had 4 children: Warwick John, born 1947, Annette Joyce, born 1950, Keith Charles, born 1956 and Gregg Richard, born 1964.

Harold Arthur Clark married Blanche Annie Keech. They had a child Vera Beryl Clark, born 1906, died 1953.

Alice Clark, born 1807 in Mt. Shannon, Galway, Ireland, married Thomas Dyias, born same location in 1803. Their child was Eliza Dyias, born 1831, died 1883.

Ross Clark married Glenis Margaret Skinner, born 1942 in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia, died 9 January,1988 at Toowoomba General Hospital, Queensland, cremated 12 January,1988 at the Garden of Remembrance, Toowoomba, Queensland. Cremation record shows Ross's name as CLARKE.

My goodness, what a mammoth task! You are welcome to any information on The Clarks from my family tree. I started life as Alwyn Clark, daughter of Alan Clark of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK and have not been doing this too long but I am back to Thomas Clark c.1838 married Martha Scott 1858.

We have identified 97 with surname Clark. there are 200 others from these Clarks. Most are from New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine. We can not identify any ancestors of James Clark born about 1797 and died 2 Feb. 1869 in
Frankfort, Maine

I think the Surname Clark in England is about the same as Smith in the US.
