Mr. Sanders L. Clark Sr. lovingly known as “Mop,” passed away Nov. 2, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown,
Ohio.
He was born Sept. 16, 1924 in Youngstown,
Mahoning county,
Ohio, a son of George and Rebecca
Wyche Clark.
He attended East High School and was a veteran of World War II.
Sanders enjoyed watching sports on TV, especially wrestling and football. He was an avid
Cleveland Browns
Fan. He worked 32 years in the Galvanize Department at Republic Steel (LTV), retiring in 1983. He was a former member of St. Thomas A.M.E. Zion Church, where he served as a trustee for many years.
He is survived by his two sons,

Ohio and Stephen

Clark, Benjamin
Parker Jr. and Ausha Denson; his former wife, Virginia; and a host of family and friends, who will sadly miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, George and Fred.
