Not likely that your Grandmother Lucy is a near relation of the John Clarke from Northern Ireland that moved to Trinty Newfoundland in the early 1800s'.
John married a Susan ,Nee name not known and had one son named Aubrey, perhaps other children also. His son Aubrey married a Mary Stevenson from Hearts delight and they had a large family. They moved to St John's Newfoundland and then in or around 1903 or 1904 moved to Cape breton Island with their family. They settled in North Sydney
