WHITEWATER--Josephine W. Coe, age 90, died at
"The Glen" Assisted Living Center in Whitewater, on
Thursday, March 21, 2002. She was born on Sept.
7, 1911 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Robert and
Vera (Christiansen) Coe. She served in the U.S.
Navy during World War II, being discharged at the
rank of aviation machinist mate 3rd class. She was
a member for over fifty years of Wm. Graham
American Legion Post #147. She was employed by
Past and President Dist. Co. in Whitewater.
Jo is survived by cousins; other relatives and many
friends. She was predeceased by her parents and
a brother.
Military funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.
Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at HILLSIDE CEMETERY,
conducted by Wm. Graham Am. Legion Post #173.
There will be no visitation. Memorials, if desired,
may be made to the Walworth County or Jefferson Countynty Humane Society or to the Legion Post.
SKINDINGSRUDE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of
arrangements.
