ASHTABULA - Edith A. Coe, 80, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, in Country Club Retirement Center.
She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Ashtabula, the daughter of Fred and Florence (Bender) Gill.
She was a homemaker and a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 419 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Richard J. Coe of Warren; a daughter, Sheila Barninger of Niles; two brothers, Lee and Merle Gill of
Ashtabula; two sisters, Mabelle Perry and Beverly Inman of Ashtabula; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard R. Coe, on Jan. 28, 1987; and five brothers and sisters.
Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Girard Cemetery Chapel.
