Alvin Colley family in Wadsworth, Ohio in 1930's

Surnames: Colley, Fox, Hoffheins, Hoffhines
Searching for information on the Alvin Colley family who lived in the Wadsworth, Ohio area in the 1930's. Alvin married Ethel M. Fox who was the great-granddaughter of Daniel Hoffheins (or Hoffhines). Ethel was born in Camden, Lorain County, Ohio in about 1906. There seem to be some strange things going on with this family...like marriages where there were no husbands around...and I would like to try to figure out what was going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
