Middle name is Elizabeth. Her father, John Comes, retired from the U.S. Navy in 1957 after 30 years on active duty. He also spent 4 years in the army before joining the Navy.<br><br>John was a Jr. His father, John W. Comes, Sr., was a farmer from Kansas. John was the youngest child in the family that consisted of 8 or 9 kids. The family moved to Southern California, I believe, in the 20's. John Sr. farmed on property that is now Universal Studies in Hollywood.
