I am trying to trace more information about my maternal great grandmother Mary. She married into the Dyer family and orignally came from Ireland. She lived in Devonport and Southampton. Her father was James McGrath and was a Sergeant in the 1st Devon Regiment and died prior to her marriage in 1900.
I am looking for more information about my maternal great grandmother Mary McGrath born in Ireland about 1879. Moved to England married into the Dyer family in 1900. Lived in Devonport and Southampton. She could also have lived in the North of England prior this this. Her father was a Sergeant in the 1st Devon Regiment but died prior to 1900 when she married.
