On Dec 4, 1865, Grace Crick was born in Indiana. She lived with the Fuller family in Frankfort Indiana on the 1880 US Census. She married Charles F Weber on Nov. 10, 1896. I just found an internet record that says the marriage was in Sherman County Kansas. She died on July 27, 1897. I am unable to locate the place of her death or the burial site. I would like to verify that this Charles Weber is or is not the Charles Weber on our family tree.

Krick/Crick history

I am just beginning the family search of the Krick family. My grandmother was from Lancaster,Pa. Her father's name was Jefferson Krick, son of Francis S. Krick and Melinda Studenroth. I know that Jefferson Krick was born about 1858 and married Fannie Heer Moseman in 1880. This is all the information I have on my grandmother's family and would love to build this line. I know grandmother, Edna Mosemann Daugherty, had family rumors of family being in the Rev. War but had no idea of details. Also, where is this family tree monument? Thanks

The Arner Family Association seeks descendants of:

SARAH CATHERINE CRICK, Philip Arner, 1831-1893, Madison, Clarion, PA.

You are almost certainly descendants of Hans Ulrich Arner and Verena Eberhard, 1735 immigrants from Switzerland to Philadelphia. Join us for an August 24-25, 2002 gathering in beautiful Lehigh County, Pennsylvania (1 hour north of Philadelphia). For “reunion” information or to see where you fit into the *rner family, visit Joe Erner’s website at www.geocities.com/~erner/gen/arner which documents the Arner/Aner family to the 1500s, or contact us through the Arner Listserv at ARNER-L@rootsweb.com. We’re planning two fun-filled days including a catered Pennsylvania Dutch luncheon and the dedication of a memorial stone in the Heidelberg Union Church cemetery to honor the immigrants. Help us widen our circle of cyber-cousins and plan to attend. We welcome you.

John William Crick and George Gibson were involved in a deed transfer with Henry Crick of Newberry Co, SC. The deed was for land in Fairfield Co, SC, but John W Crick was living in Newberry Co, at the time of the transfer. Does anyone have any information on Henry. John purchased the land from Henry and George Gibson was one of the witnesses.

It looks like John did not reside on the land in Fairfield Co, he sold it about a week after he recorded the deed in the Fairfield Co, records to the clerk that recorded the deed.

Appreciate any help offered.
Cary

Nettie (or Belle) Crick / Charles Best -- Indiana

I am looking for information about my paternal grandmother, Nettie Belle (Crick) Best. The SSDI lists her as Nettie Best, but in the 1920 US Census of Frankfort, Indiana, she is listed as Belle Best. Her birthdate was 24 May 1880. She was probably born in Clinton County, Indiana, possibly near Colfax. I have no information about when she would have married Charles Best. If anyone has any information, please post here or write me at leora@yahoo.com. Thank you!
