I believe at the time I worked on the tree, I had the correct Crozier. Now, I believe I was incorrect. I believe my ancestor is William John Squire Crozier and he was born in Ireland and died in the states. Please feel free to visit my tree. There are 2 trees under this username. You want to find the one with Elissa Hock as the head of it.

Hope I can be of some help.
Elissa

We are searching for this connection also. You have more info than we do! We traced our roots to John Crozier d 1779, but did not know his birthdate, birthplace, or his parentage. Where did you get info on his father and his father's birthdate?

You should be able to find both John G. and Jessie L. (Mullen) Crozier in the Missouri death records. I have John G. Crozier's Madison, Indiana obituary (1937) and his wife is listed as Jessie Mullen and his children are "Mrs. Adeline Gutswiller, Alexandria, La., who is critically ill, and Charles Crozier, of St. Louis." Charles can be found in the Missouri death records (1956) and Anthony can be found in the Fort Worth, Tarrant Co., TX death records (Jan 30 1889-Feb 28 1936). States he is buried in Alexanderia, LA on March 1 1936.

I was able to find a census record showing his parents and multiple siblings, but can't find anything from there (marriage, deaths, etc.) Clarence is our relative, so we have info on him.

Do you know anything about:
Ferris B Crozier (b.1892 in Ohio) and Sarah Idella or Idella Sarah Motz(b. 1874 in Missouri)
Children: Lelia M, Cecile W, Florence Carmen, Miletus E, and Clarence V Crozier. (all born in Ohio from 1890-1909)

Bernice,
My husband's family is descended fom Thomas Wilcox and Agness Crozier. The information I have is that their daughter Hannah married Jonas Simmons. Hannah and Jonas had a daughter, Agnes and she married Fairbairn. When Agnes died, Robert married her younger sister Mabel Martha. My mother-in-law (Mabel Del) is the youngest of Robert's children. I have some obituaries if you are interested.
My biggest road block is Thomas Wilcox.
Wow that is quite the family mystery! I sure wish that I could help you. My family tree includes a Monroe Samuel Crozier married to Eliza. Their son died in the Civil War as a Union soldier. However, this Crozier was born in 1819 in the USA. They certainly do have ties to Canada. The soldier died as a POW and left one son who, although, raised in MI by his mother and stepfather, moved to Canada after marrying. He lived and died in Wentworh. Any possible connection?

Yours is an interesting dilemma. Counting on the fact that Arthur Crozier enlisted in WWI looking up his military record might reveal much. William Arthur Crozier b. July 16, 1896 to John and Agnes (Brewster)Crozier of Uffington Ontario. Their farm was Lot 26 Con 7 Draper Township Muskoka County. He enlisted with the 1st Central Ontario Regiment and you can get his war records from Collections Canada - order from their web site. It might have notations about pension etc. which would give you a clue as to where he eventually settled. But unfortunately I don't think that John Crozier and Agnes Brewster are part of my gedcom. Good luck.

Gladys Crozier - French Resistance fighter

Looking for information on Gladys Crozier. She was born in Bishop Auckland in about 1903 but adopted by Mr and Mrs Crozier of Sunderland. She married French sailor Pierre Lagorn in 1923 in Sunderland and had a daughter, Aline Dagorn, in 1925. She moved to France at around the time of World War Two, helping British airmen return to England as part of the French Resistance. She was later captured by the Gestapo, spent time in a German bomb making factory and ended up in a Russian camp after being liberated. She returned to England after the war, and I presume then returned to France. I would love to know what happened to her then. her daughter, Aline, became a nurse in the British Army and died in 1989. I have no idea, however, when Gladys died - can anyone help?

Three brothers and two sisters immigrate from Armagh Ireland c.1823. When they reach Quebec City the men get brutally drunk. Adam wakes up and can't find his two brothers, John and Robert. Adam and his sisters make their way to Beachburg, Renfrew, Ontario. Martha marries a Rev. Munroe of Pembroke Ont. and Eliza marries a Blakely also of Pembroke but they never hear what happened to the two missing brothers. Sound familiar? Looking for the lost brothers.

I am looking for information on my James Crozier. The only tidbit I have is on his son's death record, that he was from
Ireland/England. James' wife was Elizabeth Martin, b.1795 &
I don't have any info on her other than what was handed down
verbally, being an only child & her father being a sailor??
One of their sons was born 1821, Lincolnshire, England &
coming with his parents in 1828 to Yonge St. Toronto, then
moving on to Stratford in 1842. Have not found death for parents as of yet. Is any of this familiar?
Lucinda

Clarence Crozier was born in Dubuque, IA; his father John also came from Iowa. The move to Michigan City, IN, was about 1930. John later remarried a Fleda Nichols who died in Michigan. Their son was John Martin Crozier who replied to me several years ago. I don't think there are any others in that line in MI.

Hello, You are very lucky to have decended from Charlotte. From every record in the public and private domain she was a Maiden Lady who lived with her sister in Dublin.

You must be a Natural Born Decendent, Please let us have more information.

William
