Looking for this member. Posted last june 2011 from parrot54 a question re: My G Grandmother Maria Mauricia Verdugo. He knew about my G Grandfather Martin Cruz being adopted by my
G Uncle Marcial Cruz. What a revelation, I could not figure out why she married her brother. I have letters from her to him in 1883, which she called him her brother, then found marriage record in 1885. Please contact me delmarcy at hotmail

Cruz Cruz is on my father birth certificate from Hobart Oklahoma as knowledge of the birth of my father.

My dad George has one picture of Cruz. I keep it because he was the only grandpa I knew.

cruz cruz was my father's george herrera "godfather" in Hobart in the 1930's. Alphonso died maybe 7 years ago here in Racine County.
he was a POW Ranger/Paratrooper in WWI II there is much info on him
Pilar passed away in Kenosha and Sara is still here in WI.
I have only one contact and that is Frank Cruz my father's half brother here in Racine also.
I have obits on Al and Pilar.

I'm just getting started on looking up my ancestors. My grandfathers name was Jesus Cruz,wife Maria Cruz, sons and daughters,Joe,Andrew,Soloman,Teresa and Socorro.All lived in Dallas,TX. Not sure what part of Mexico my grandparents are from. Taking a trip to Spain this fall and would like to do some research while there. Please send me the coat of arms for the two countries. Hi, I don't know if this helps but my grandmother's name was Buenaventura Vega de Cruz b. About 1902, she married my grandfather Epifanio Cruz. She was his 2nd wife. Both were born in Aguadilla, PR.

I am also researching Cruz/ de la Cruz family, I am at Roberto and Juliana de la Cruz in Northern Mexico they had 6-8 children Maria Antonia is who I am decended, Andres, Pilar, Vidal, Santiago and Martina are some others.

I am trying to research my father's family. His name was William Perry Cruz, dob 3/6/1934, born in Honolulu, HI, dod 12/7/2004, Clark County, Las Vegas, NV. He had 2 brothers, Luibeck Cruz dob 2/19/1937 (I think), still living, and Emil James Cruz dob 9/13/1939, HI, dod 12/14/2002, Honolulu, HI. I have also been told of a sister, Winona Leilani Cruz, but can't find anything about her. I thought she was younger than my dad until Uncle Lui said he thought she was older, but didn't know anything more. My dad's father was William Mitchell Cruz, dob 1/17/1908, HI, dod 4/1985, Hagatna,Guam. I grew up being told by my mother that I was Hawaiian/ Portuguese. I guess that must be where the Cruz name originated. My dad's mother was Mabel Kapewa,born in HI (aka Mabel Blakemore, Mabel Rodriquez, Madeline Kapewa, Madeline, Rodriquez, Mabel McComber, Mabel Abadilla). I have other info on marriages and children of Mabel Kapewa. I was told William Mitchell Cruz remarried (My dad talked of a step-mother). My dad's grandparents were John M. Cruz dob 1882, and Rebecca (Perry) Cruz dob 1874. The 1930 US Census also shows a Pansy Cruz dob 1924 and Julia Cruz dob 1927 listed with William Cruz. I don't know who Pansy or Julia are and I don't know anything more about John or Rebecca Cruz.

DOD Identifies Navy Casualty

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a sailor who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Petty Officer Dominique Cruz, 26, of Panama City, Fla., was found during search and rescue operations Jan. 19 in the Gulf of Oman after being reported missing Jan. 18. Cruz was assigned as an Operations Specialist to the USS Halsey homeported in San Diego, Calif. Halsey is currently deployed to the Fifth Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations.

For further information related to this release, contact commander, Naval Surface Force U.S. Pacific Fleet public affairs at 619-437-2146.

My dad's name is Antonio David Cruz. My Grandma is Antonia Cruz (not sure if she is Nang or Tang)?. They both past away. I want to find all my relatives out here in the states. I'm a Cruz as well, can trace back to Peta Cruz born 1856 Puerti Rico - married Margaret Corbet in Australia in 1902
Peta died 17 Jan 1907. His parents were Manuel Cruz and Isabella Gonsalez that' as far as I go. Don't know if we are the same.

Sorry not to have been in touch for a while. Have been trying to give our researcher as much as possible to enable us to move forward with this.Could you please be so good as to confirm your mother's parents full names and when they were born, Please please work with me on this as we can both benefit from the info that we hope to get . I would be grateful if you could confirm the date that Candida died and if you know how old she was. Could we also know the dates of birth of your mother Lucy's sisters i.e. Jenny and Margarita. It appears that Doreen did not know her father;s name and would love to think she knew Candida's birthday.

Is Martin Rodrigues in Hollis related to yourselves please.
