My name is Maria Cury, and I have the same tree as you according to the history from my grand-father...My grand-grand father went from Syria to Santo Domingo (dominican repiblic)
I'm surpprise because my last name is not so popular in USA...

I was borned in the Dominican Republic and my mother is second generation. Her father was Cerame Cury and her grand father Camilo Cury who came from syria or lebanon.

My family tree takes us back to Syria and the family of Saab. There are many branches of the tree that migrated to America and changed their name. Some kept Khoury, some dropped the H and used Koury. Others went with the name Cury. So, if you are any relation, please e-mail. I have a family tree and would like to find more information on the people. I have the names of over 200 family members, I just now need birth dates, death dates, cities, education, military service, occupation, etc.
