Cuttell/Cuttle/Cuttel in/from Yorkshire

My mother was a Cuttell and my maiden aunt, her sister, always claimed the family originated from Yorkshire despite the fact they were certainly in the Middlesex and London area from at least 1800. The aunt even moved to Yorkshire when she retired, presumably to nearer the 'family home'. I know from researching that there are many Cuttells in that area.<br>Does anyone know of any branch of the family which moved south? I have found one or two going the other way but, as yet, can't connect them to my particular family.

I'm not sure if I am directly related to James and Esther, but I recognize the names and will look them up when I return home--I travel a lot for work. I have just returned from holidays in Leeds and attended St. Peter's Parish Church where many of the the Cuttells have their roots. It is quite an amazing place and goes far back , about 1,000 year, with Churches on that site. The present building dates from the 1830's. When I have time I am extremely interested in pursuing any and all Cuttell links, so stay in touch!
