Hi!

So funny, my official name (before marriage) is Michelle Daisley too, though everyone knows me by my middle name! Guess what? One of our cousins, Sam Daisley (not sure if you know him, Sam and my dad had the same grandfather from barbados) already did the daisley family tree, showing how the Daisleys moved from Barbados to St. Vincent and all over the world.

On my Grandmothers birth certificate no father is listed, checked on the 1911 census and she was 10 mths old living at home with her Mother and Grandfather. I wondered if anyone could shed any light on her father or if anyone knows where you can find lists of servants in the early 1900's and who they served. I know its a long shot.

grandfather finn, and grandmother daisley who married around 1910- my mother was annie florence finn born 1915 in new hythe kent england. And had a brother called arthur born 1913 same place.

Opps... I see I missed a number in the year. Maryann Daisley and Wm. Chambers were married in 1853.

I am wondering if your Daisley line is the same as mine.

My 3rd great grandmother is Maryann Daisley that was born in Scotland married to William Chambers/Chalmers in 183 in Campsie, Stirling, Scotland. Information I have found says that Maryann's father is Henry Daisley.

Are any of your Daisley's married to a Chambers/Chalmers?

Looking for information, especially the burial site for Thomas Daisley, who served in Co. E, 81st Pa. and Co. B & E, 116th Pa. during the Civil War. Born about 1843 in Pa. Living in Philadelphia at enlistment. In Soldier's Home in 1884. Researching the men of the 81st Pa., and compiling their burial locations. Any help, or information would be greatly appreciated.

My dad is from St. Vincent also. My great-grandfather's name was Hubert Daisley Snr. He came to St. Vincent as a teacher from Barbados I'm told. What's your mom's name? You may be the second relative with whom I made contact with via this board..a couple months ago another Daisley contacted me, he turned out to be the son of my father's first cousin.

hi my name is not daisley but my mothers name was elizabeth daisley and she was born in scotland and her father thomas daisley was born in ireland ,and my mother came from a family of 14 brothers and sisters and she was a a twin,i could go on and on ,i myself now live in australia.

I was in the PALM BEACH MEMORIAL PARK a week ago,
which is in LANTANA, FLORIDA, Palm Beach County,
and I wrote down some information.
The headstone was flat, and read;

MARIETTA B. DAISLEY
1872-1970

I just happened to see this listing. This is my first time at this site, so I'm not sure if this is interesting information:

I am a Daisley descendent of John B. Daisley. My grandfather, Elbern, grew up in Pomeroy and left during the depression. He is still alive (he's in his mid 90's) and fairly sharp. I would be happy to pass any questions to Elbern that you may have about John B. It's pretty cool to see the picture of John B. I think many of us still have his mouth...

My son's father, was born in Edgeware England. His brother is still somewhere in the area. All I know is he resides in England.....Christopher Daisley..that is.

I am looking for anyone who might know of a Christopher Daisley. His brother, Peter Nicholas Daisley, (now deceased) is the father of my son, (Peter N Daisley). I am trying to locate any relatives so my son may stay connected to his true heritage. (My son is now 6)

Hubert Daisly Snr is my Great Grandmother's brother. Her name was Martha and she stayed in Barbados. I have most of her descendants and Hubert's in my family tree, as we all remained close. If you are interested in the information let me know.

Hi Im wanting to find ancestors of Rita Daisley (IM her grandaughter) I know nothing about her except that she had brothers Ron (Ronald) and Syd (Sydney).
She married JOhn (Jack) Robertson and settled in Matamata and raised 5 children. they then retired at Mt Maunganui, she died abt 1986

Seek info for J.B. Daisley, minister of Christian churches in the Northeastern Oregon (Athena & Milton-Freewater) area during the 1890's. What was his given name? Was he married? Was he from Scotland/Ireland? I'm preparing a history of the Christian church of Athena, and he preached here in 1893-94 and possibly 1892. After Athena he preached in Milton for several years. Thank you for any leads/info you can give.

I was browsing and I came upon your message. My mother's maiden name is Daisley and she is from St.Vincent.
