      <description>&lt;br&gt;              Virginia E. Darrin&lt;br&gt;Virginia E. Darrin, 85, of Ontario Avenue, Renovo,pa,&lt;br&gt; died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004 at her home. Born March 26, 1918 in Pine Glenn, she was a daughter of the late Charles R. and Eva J. Benton Newlen. She was married to William A. Darrin. He preceded her in death in 1986. &lt;br&gt;She was a member of Renovo United Methodist Church and was the former Sunday School teacher for the church. She was a 1936 graduate of Renovo High School, a former member of Order of the Eastern Star, and enjoyed reading, bingo, crossword puzzles and square dancing. &lt;br&gt;Surviving are two sons, Richard E. of Renovo&lt;br&gt; and Donald R. of Bloomsburg;&lt;br&gt; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Charles of Columbus, Ohio, Eugene of Bakersfield, Calif., Jessie of South Renovo; and a sister, Dorothy Sis Ransdorf of South Renovo.&lt;br&gt; In addition to her husband, &lt;br&gt;she was preceded in death by a son, David L. in 1972. &lt;br&gt;Funeral services will be held Jan.10, 2004 at 1 p.m. in the Renovo United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Godissart officiating. Interment will be in North Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation. The family will provide flowers. The Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth Street, Renovo is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions are requested to Renovo United Methodist Church, 127 Seventh Street, Renovo, PA 17764.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;                    United Methodist Church, "&lt;br&gt;            </description>

      <description>&lt;br&gt;             Marjorie E. (Naughton) Darrin, 90, of South Renovo, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2008 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was born in South Renovo on Dec. 24, 1917, the daugher of James and Agnes (Jones) Naughton.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, George K. Darrin, in 1979.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She worked at the former Sockman’s Department Store and also Widmann’s as a manager.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was a member of First United Methodist Church.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Surviving are a son, Gary J. (Susan) Darrin of Mill Hall; three daughters, Kay M. Marcaccio of Burke, Va.,&lt;br&gt; Gail (Victor) Peracchia of Hershey &lt;br&gt;and Cindy R. (Bruce) Emig of Salladasburg; &lt;br&gt;nine grandchildren; one step-grandson; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter;&lt;br&gt; and a sister, Maxine Schenck of York&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;She was preceded in death by five brothers &lt;br&gt;    and two sisters.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family with Martha Sykes officiating. Interment will be at North Bend Cemetery. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Renovo Public Library, Seventh Street, Renovo, Pa. 17764, or to The Gatehouse, 1100 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, Pa. 17701.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Arrangements are under the direction of the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;              First United Methodist Church."&lt;br&gt;            </description>
