Hi Desiree, yes I remember you and your sister, and of course your grandfather and father. I believe I was a couple of years ahead of you in school and I attended Long Beach schools. I have a picture of your grandfather with my grandfather taken around 1971 or so. The only picture of your grandfather I had. I have been unsuccessful researching the Davions. Have you had any luck. My grandfather told me his mother's maide name once, but I have forgotten. It started with a "B" and was of course, french. It is so good to hear from someone from the Davion side. I have lost touch with Chere and Becky, do you know them? There grandmother was Blanche, the youngest in the Davion family. I remember playing with them growing up. I hope to hear from you again soon, Robin Davion Bosarge Thorn (I am in Tuscaloosa , Alabama)

Hi, I am a Davion. Grandaugher of Eernest James Davion, second to last child born to ??? Father died when he was 7 and he went to work to help family. Siblings were: Blanche, Ovide, and Whilemena, and others. Many migrated to Pass Christian, Miss. My "Papa D" died in 1999. He had been married to Anita Crowell. He left 4 children: Eernest James Davion, Jr. (hattiesburg, MS), Ronald A. Davion "Dinky" of Long Beach, MS, Leah Davion Bosarge of Perkingston, MS and many grandchildren. Any info on this Davion line?

Hi Monique, I am the grandaughter of Eernest James Davion who died in 1999 in Pass Christian Mississippi. He was raised in Alexandria, LA. His siblings were Blanche, Ovide, Whilamena, and others, I don't know his parents names. He married Anita Crowell. I have been searching forever.

Try Natchitoches Parish, LA. My father-in-law's grandmtr was a Davion, born in 1854 & raised in Natchitoches Parish around Campti.

Try looking under Daviau, there are some in Louisiana, that come from France, to Quebec, to Mass. and so on and so on.
Maybe I can help, I know one of my ancestors was baptized under the name Davion her was really a Daviau.

searching Davions in Clouterville, Louisianna

I'm looking for information on my grand-father, Leo A. Davion. He was born Feb. 12, 1906 in Clouterville, La to the late Emanual and Minervia (Rueben) Davion. I'm searching for his grandparents, and where they originated from. Our family folklore was told to me that he was a decendant of one of the muskateers. I am aware that there aren't too many Davions left, and finding any information would be a blessing.

Had the following Children:
Felicity Jacinta b:12 Jun 1783
Marie Louisa b: 3 Mar 1785
Marie Pelagie b: 31 Dec. 1786
Marie Hortense b: 5 Apr. 1789
Marie Teresa b: 22 Nov. 1791
Benoist b: 14 Apr. 1797
Louis Xavier Francois Bertrand (My ggggrandfather.) b: 24 Jan 1800
Most or all were born France. I believe Louis XF was born aboard ship on the way to Canada.
