My Greatgranpa Juan DeLeon(1784)and Capt.Alonzo DeLeon is at least 100yrs gap. I have researshed work compiled by John D. Enclan "Descendents of Don Lorenzo Perez(1580)and Doña Adriana DeLeón(1585).
John D. Inclan compiled to the 6th reneration, which to the last ones born about 1750 or 1760 and there is no lead to Pedro DeLeón that was born in 1784, no lead from which branch my greatgreatganpa extended from.
I have no idea how to brige this gap. No idea who or which buerocracy to reach out to. I have relatives in Nuevo Leon that more than likely could help. Im dead on my tracks.

Anybody familiar with the "Rodriguez Ranch" in Freer late 1800's? I know there was a Campos Ranch nearby. My Great Grandfather Mariano Rodriguez lived there with his wife Sarah Buckow, (German), they had many children there one of which is my Grandfather Geronimo Rodriguez.

Mariano's mother's name was Anastacia Rodriguez, but i have no record of his Father. Census records say Anastacia was widowed and it does not give his father's name. Also i would love to know Anastacia's maiden name.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Looking for any information or relatives of my Great Grandfather named Jose Olguin. He was born in the mid 1850's in Goliad County, Texas.

My understanding is he ran away as a young boy and moved to Campbellton/Christine area. He married my Great Grandmother Reducinda Palacios. They had several children and did migrant work in that area. My Grandmother Adela Olguin Rodriguez was one of their children.

Looking for ancestry on my Great Grandfathers family. Census records record his birth about 1842 and in Mexico. He lived his adult life in Duval County at Rodriguez Ranch in Freer. He married a German lady named Sarah A. Buckow. They had several children one of which is my Grandfather named Geronimo Rodriguez. Geronimo married Adela Olguin, and they had a large family in Pleasanton, Texas, one of which was my father Joe Olguin Rodriguez.

I see another post about this but I'm hoping for some replies as he got none in 2003.

Looking for Louis Henri DeLeon (came from Lyon France) who settled in Louisiana. Born 1850 or so in France and came over. Wife was Louise Muller, son John Edward DeLeon Sr. (My great grandfather). Can't find birth record for John Edward in NOLA, just census nor any info on his parents. My tree has them penned as Naturalized Citizens but I can find no records.

Hi, I am a member of the De Leon family descendant of Juan Bautista De Leon, a representative of Barings Bank who arrived to Venezuela in the 1830s. It appears he came from St Thomas, so everything indicates that the Antilles was full of De-Leons in the 1800s (there was yet another branch living in Curacao). My ancestor was a Sephardi, whose family settled in London, after the Spanish diaspora in 1492.

There is a Daniel De Leon, who attained fame as candidate for governorship of New York in the early 1900s. He ran as candidate of the US Socialist Workers' Party.

Benedicta DeLeon, 102, of 20 Jefferson St., Westfield, NY died Wednesday evening (Dec. 2, 2009) at her home.
Born in Puerto Rico on May 12, 1907, she was the daughter of the late Fransisco Rivera and Epifania Gerena.
Her husband, Alberto DeLeon, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her 12 children, Rosa B. DeLeon and Fransisco DeLeon, both of Westfield, Tomasa DeLeon of New Jersey, Eva DeLeon of Puerto Rico, Ada DeLeon of New Jersey, Celita DeLeon of Puerto Rico, Esther DeLeon of Westfield, Eliseo DeLeon of Dunkirk, Noemi Ceuvas of Westfield, Julio DeLeon of Dunkirk, and Eliezer DeLeon and Ruth M. DeLeon, both of Westfield. Also surviving are 72 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

She had a great love for her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 at 8:30 PM at Lakeshore Assemblies of God Church of Westfield with the Rev. Vincent Sanzo officiating. Calling hours will be held Saturday from 3:00 to 5:00 at the Fantauzzi Funeral Home, 52 South Portage St., Westfield, NY and from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Lakeshore Assemblies of God Church of Westfield, NY. Parents were Henry Wolfe DeLeon b. 1866 and Eva Flora Maude Kidd b. 1891. Two children Carmen Irene b 4/14/1892 and Dudley Claude b 3/01/1894 both of Jamaica

Henry was one of 11 children born to Joseph Rodriques DeLeon and Cordelia Melhado. Henry's Older brother Uriah George is my GG Granfather.

In loving memory, Dolores Hernandez DeLeon – mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, wife, sister, friend, neighbor but most of all the daughter of a king.

Born Feb. 1, 1930, in Taft, Texas, she went to be with the Lord at 8:20 p.m. Nov. 27, 2008.

Dolores moved to Moses Lake in 1966 and lived there until 1998 when she moved to Phoenix, Ariz., to be with her family.

She is preceded in death by her son, Julian Jr., and brother, Lupe Hernandez. She is survived by her husband, Julian P. DeLeon Sr.; sister, Viola Johnson; sister-in-law, Antonia Hernandez; her sons Pablo, David, Domingo and Leo DeLeon; daughters Susie, Yolanda, Elma, Olga, Rachel and Ruth; 51 grandchildren and 54 great-grandkids.

Dolores loved to spend time with family and friends, loved fruit – especially watermelon – loved gardening and houseplants and was dedicated to her family.
