hi! i am afraid i don't have much information, but i am looking for the family of my grandfather - luis eduardo delgadillo. he was born in 1915 in bogota, had a brother, and lived with his grandmother. this is all i know. do you know if your grandfather had a brother? their birth years are very close together.

my grandpa was from cuquio Jalisco and he passed this past year october 2010..... his name was marciano delgadillo..... im really interested in your family its strange that cuquio being so small has many delgadillos it can be possible that we r from the same family

Looking for descendants of Feliciano Delgadillo

Looking for my paternal grandfather, Feliciano Delgadillo, who was from Mexico born @ 1919, and it is believed that he expired in June 1988. In the 1950's, he was married to Juana Gonzalez in Brownsville, Texas, but the family knew nothing of him after 1958 or so. They had three children from this union: Jose (1953, deceased), Feliciano Jr. (1954, living) and Oralia (1956, deceased). He was a fisherman in the 1950's, but his whereabouts are unknown. I have been able to trace some documents back to him on this site, and would love to get in touch with unknown relatives if we have any. My father, his son, would really want to know more about his dad. Any information is appreciated. I can be reached at TexasLali@yahoo.com.

Hi, My grandfather, Leonard Delgadillo was from Guadalajara. When he married my grandma, they moved over to Los Angeles, CA. Leonard had four sons and two daughters, Manuel, Ramon, Abel, Edward, and two daughters, Mary and Aurora. My father, Abel was his third son. Of these six, only two survive, Ramon and Aurora. My name is Carol Ann Delgadillo Serna and I have two brothers and two sisters, Leonard Delgadillo, Phillip Delgadillo (after my grandmother, Felipa) and Rosanna and Rebecca. i am from a small town near Guadalajara. born in Jocotepec and raised in a small town in Sierra del Tigre near Lake Chapala. i know my grandparents's patrilianage ok. my father and mother were born and raise in this small town that i am speaking of, and they know a lot of families ancestors through oral history.

i also have family in Guadalajara.
perhaps my father may know your fathers family. my father knows all of his fathers' ancestors.

My grandfather was born in New Lonox Illinois and moved to chihuahua around the time of the great depression. He moved to La Mesa del Huracan in the High Sierra Madre. His name was Jose Maria Delgadillo. He married in La mesa and had six children, one of which was my father David Delgadillo. My grandfather lived in La Mesa del Huracan until mid 1960s when he moved to Chihuahua Chihuahua. He died when I was about five years old around 1970 or 1971. If he sounds like your grand father let me know and I will try to get more information about him. I know my dad always talked about searching out some of our relatives in New Lenox Illinois.

His father was in the Air Corps? during the Korean War (I'm not sure about his father's service, but it was something to do with airplanes and he ended up living around Ft. Alberto then married Romula Santos and has my grandmother Lucia Gonzales. I don't know if there was any other children for any of these people. DELGADILLO, DANIEL Daniel peacefully passed away on December 14, 2003, at the age of 73. He wasborn January 3, 1930 in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. He will be missed by his wife Bonnie of 52 years of marriage along with his six children: Yolanda Ortiz, Daniel Delgadillo Jr., Stella Delgadillo, Mario Delgadillo, Sonialina Reyes, and Oscar Gracia Jr.; along with his fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, at Humphrey Mortuary in Chula Vista. Yeah, the names you've mentioned don't ring a bell. I'm not that well informed of my great-grandfather's, Higinio Olmos Lopez, family tree. I have been told by my mother that he had a brother and sister by the names of Martin Olmos Lopez and Natividad Olmos, which all came from Tlachichila, Zac. I will have to have a conversation with my grandmother, Celsa Olmos Lopez, wife of Martin Olmos Munoz, my grandfather whom was named after his uncle.

Now, all the Olmos family lives in the Los Angeles - Orange Counties in Souther California, which is a big family. My grandparents, Celsa and Martin, had 10 children, Humberto, Cenovia, Ignacio, Alvaro, Maria, Pedro, Anita, Efren, Juan, & Catalina Olmos.

I talked to my mother and she states that an Herculano Olmos Delgadillo was from Tlachichila (La Palma), however, it is my understanding that we are from a different Olmos clan. My grandfather's name was Lauro Olmos Avelar and his father's name was Deciderio Olmos and his wife's name was Francisca Avelar. Our family is quite close to Herculano Olmos and his wife Carolina, they live in Los Angeles California.

What is it that you are looking for? Most of my family lives in Fortworth Texas. I also have some family in Aguascalientes, and Mitochanejo Jalisco. There was a recent accident, last summer and it was all over the Teocaltiche news. A couple of teenagers in one car lost control and crashed. All died but the female driver survived. One of the teenagers, about 16 years old was a Delagadillo. Maybe you read or heard about it? So is your family related to us?
