I am reading this as looking for information on Della Solnitzky. Not the last name of Della. My grandfather was Edward Solnitzky, he had a sister Della. They both lived in St. Paul Minnesota at the time of their deaths. I believe Della had at least one child and I think her name was Phoene (sp). I never met either one of them. Although I met Emauneul (Herman) Edward's brother and he was a charecter. My grandfather Edward Solnitzky died in the early 1960's when I was in early grade school. Edward had 5 childred, Frank, Kathrine (Kate), George, Joseph and William (Bill)in chronological order of birth. Some of these children were born in Europe and I would love to know where. My father George was born while traveling to America. Bill is the only one still alive. My father was George who also had 5 children. I would love to be in contact with anyone who has more information about where my family came from.

My gr-gr-grandmother is Mathilda Della Deruise, daughter of Edward Della. Mathlida was born in New Orleans, but Edward came here from Virginia according to the Census, but I cannot remember exactly waht year. If anybody has any info on Edward Della it would be greatly appreciated.

I am research the family of my apparently Black great grandmother. She was Van Wert, Ohio. In the 1860's Census for Van Wert Conty, there is a listing for "Charles Greulich?/Grandendalas." I am wonder if the"Grandendalas" is a misspelling of Grand and Della. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to unravel the history of my apparently Black great grandmother. Her mother was Marie Elizabeth Greulich (Greulach) (Griley). There is in the 1860 Census ofVan Wert Ohio, a listing for "Charles Greulich?/Grandendalas." I am think that perhaps the Grandendals is a misspelling of "Grand and Dellas" Any information would be great.

I am trying to locate or get any information on my great aunt Thyra Decuir Della.She is the widow of Henry Della.They have one son,Ivan Della.They lived in New York up until at least 1989,when my grandfather passed.Mr.Della died in 1987 or 1988.He was a merchant marine for years.My aunt was the head librarian in New York.I just want to know is she still living,and I do feel she is either in greece or Germany.She is multi lingual and has traveled extensively.She was born in Orleans,France.My great grand parents were white and black french.Any one with any information,please respond.my name is Vontell.

I wasn't sure if you received my reply or not, it didn't look like it went through so I thought I would try again, I have alot on the Baltimore DELLA'S but it is in bits and pieces. I show a Gerhard (Jarrett) DELLA as beeing the first DELLA to come over from Germany, so far we have his children as Andrew, Peter, Elenora, and one or two more..we havn't been able to connect the Pasadena DELLA'S as to which child they came from, I have seen Charles E. as married to a Rebecca Purdy??? can you tell me where Charles fits in to the puzzle? this has been a complicated family to research, my Father-in Law has been worrking on it for 10 years aand still has many holes in the lines..Would like to hear from you again Bob Slaughter at theresa@chesapeake.net
